Underground

Since Thayer Power & Communication was founded in 1964, we have been completing underground installation projects in the power and telecommunications industries. Today is no different, with in-house crews supporting the Power and Fiber Teams with underground placement. In recent years we have seen an uptick in municipalities, investor-owned utilities, and cooperatives wanting underground placement of their utilities. This growth has allowed TPC to break out our underground services into its own division to better serve the needs of the industry.

Having a long history gives us a greater understanding and ability to identify the right tool for the underground project as we have experience with all types of soil conditions. We also have experience in completing projects in both congested urban environments and mountainous rural terrain, making TPC the right contractor for any underground placement.
